Be Kinder Than Necessary

Are you being kind today?
Or are you letting petty little things make you a meany?
If you are like me, and you are a woman, then there are a few days every month when you feel like being anything BUT kind.  But the truth is, nothing says “make the world a better place” like being kind does.
If you take it down a notch, you could say,
“make your country a better place,”
“make your community a better place,”
“make your workplace a better place,”
“make your school a better place,”
or to nail the bulls eye…
“make your home a better place.”
Can you imagine how different this world would be if everyone lived by this mantra?  What problems would we have?  Like…. none?
There was a sign posted on the highway for awhile last year that I loved, and every time I drove past it, it would make me think.
I don’t know who put the sign up, but what a great way to spread some goodness!
I love this list I found by Gail L. Grant who devoted a whole page to why you should be kind.  You should really click here to read this list!
A simple thing we learned in Primary, in kindergarten, and in the first few years of our life, but so pertinent even to our lives today.
Don’t be a meany.
Be kinder than necessary.
“Therefore, what manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say unto you, even as I am.”
-Jesus Christ (3 Ne. 27:27)

Have a great day!
