10 WAYS TO WEAR A JUMPSUIT

The Jumpsuit is back!

I haven’t owned one since I was a child but the jumpsuit is definitely making it’s appearance again!  With so many cute options and versatility it’s becoming hard to ignore them. Wait, you might be thinking, versatility?? YES!  In this post I’m going to show you 10 ways to wear a jumpsuit; some of them you may have never considered!

First …. the jumpsuit.  It’s important that you find one that you LOVE and that you will want to wear over and over again.  Otherwise, what good is it?  I got mine a year ago HERE and unfortunately it is no longer available. The great thing about most jumpsuits is that it can be worn for several occasions and can be dressed up or down depending on where you’re going.

Since mine is no longer available, here are a few other options for you that are just as cute, if not CUTER!  There are several different price ranges so you can find the right one to fit your budget.

Now, let’s get to styling!!

#1 – Wear your jumpsuit with a BLAZER and HEELS.  This is definitely a dressier way to style it.  The blazer gives you a polished and professional look that could easily be worn to work.

Some blazer and heel options:

#2 – Wear it with a DENIM JACKET.  I paired it with some great looking designer Italian shoes that I actually picked up at the thrift store!  The jacket is the same one I wore HERE.  Everyone needs a good denim jacket.  A cute and casual running errands outfit.

Some great jacket and shoe options:

#3 – With a PEPLUM top or jacket.  Either way, any peplum jacket OR top would be a fun addition to the jumpsuit.

#4 – With a THIN BELT.  Adding a belt gives it a little less of a “jumpsuity” look and defines the waist in a flattering way.  Add a matching jacket, blazer, or shoes and you’re good for date night, office, or even grocery shopping.

#5 – With a KIMONO and the sleeves tied at your waist to create a front bow.  This is clever!  Take down your sleeve straps and tie them at your waist into a bow! The front placard is in there too, but can be easily tied without adding bulk.  Depending on the jumpsuit of course.  This would work great for jumpsuits that have strap sleeves, not actual “sleeve” sleeves.  It gives the appearance of wide leg pants!  Just another fun way to stretch your wardrobe.

Here is the same look but with a sheer white kimono.

Halfway there!

#6 – With a BRIGHT FLORAL top.  This look can be worn with or without heels depending on where you are going.

Again, you can take those sleeves down and tie them in a bow at the waist.  OR!  And this one isn’t posted but you could wear the jumpsuit with the straps over your shoulder like normal, but throw this shirt over top and knot it in the middle.  That’s cute too!

#7 – MONOCHROMATIC with a POP OF COLOR.  This is a great way to keep it simple then grab all the attention with brightly colored shoes!

#8 – With a KNOTTED TSHIRT.  Simply throw a tshirt over the top and knot it in the center or off to one side.

#9 – Wear it with a SHOULDER RUFFLE TOP.   Somehow, it seems when you have some ruffles on your shoulders, your waist appears smaller!  This is the same shirt I wore back HERE.

#10 – As a SWIM SUIT COVERUP!  Sometimes you just want more coverage!  Just imagine how cute it would look with an off the shoulder swim suit!!  Darling!!!

There you have it, 10 ways to wear a jumpsuit!  With all the different shirt variations, can you see the limitless style options??  Now you are ready to go out and rock this hot trend!
