30 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 6: GENUINE COMPASSION
I was watching the news last night and saw that this man, “Secret Santa” is back at it again this year, handing out $100 bills, anonymously, and wanting nothing in return but for them to pay it forward.

One of the neatest Christmas memories we have had as a family, was when my mom and dad passed out $5 bills to each of our kids and told them to find someone to give it to during the Christmas season. It was such fun for my kids, deciding who to give the money to.
Just recently, I myself, have been overwhelmed by the amount of compassion that’s been shown to me in the way of visits, phone calls, text messages, emails, information, and genuine outpouring of love in light of my recently acquired Bell’s Palsy. I feel so loved! And although that love can’t heal me, it sure makes bearing the Palsy a lot easier!! I need to be better that way.
1 Peter 3:8
“Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.”
1 Peter 3:8

*Today I am so grateful for people who show genuine compassion and who teach me by example how I can be more compassionate to others.
Who could be blessed by your compassion?
