A Girl and Her Gun…

 Once upon a time there was a girl who really wanted her very own nail gun.
Then, she got one.

That right there is a true story!

I am now the proud owner 
of a NAIL GUN, GIRLS!!!

I guess I graduated from the old fashioned “hammer and nails” when I proved to Rick that I was serious about trimming out my house, by finishing the half bathroom (HERE) and the laundry room (HERE)

I’m just suh proud of myself and feel so accomplished!

I deserve a nail gun!!!

 

 

Even though Rick went with me, he was no help.  He doesn’t know the first thing about picking out a  nail gun.

So we stood and stared at this wall for a long time.

 

I got the attention of my favorite Lowe’s worker, who knows just about everything, and he came to our rescue, and here’s what he told me.
He said, if all you’re doing is adding trim, baseboards, casing, beadboard, etc to your home,
(yes, yes, yes, and yes)
then the less expensive nail gun or “brad nailer” will do just great!

Great news!!
That is the cute blue one in the center.

Of course he also mentioned to be sure to hit the studs somewhere while you are nailing, but pretty sure we all know that, right?

She’s mine!!!

Its lightweight,

it came with a sweet pair of safety glasses, which make me look professional,

it’s way simple to load,

AND, the biggest reason ever…

it’s SO MUCH BETTER THAN USING A HAMMER!!!

I was skipping through the store with some other materials for my next project, and you can bet Ima be pullin’ the tough girl face with every nail!
