Laundry Room Door Dilemma

I left the laundry room door to the garage the last one to be painted because I was struggling with my decision about what color to paint it.
My immediate thought was of course to paint it white, I’ve created a nice, bright laundry room, very clean looking, very neutral, white would make sense.
But the other side of me, the devil on my shoulder if you will, was whispering in my ear to paint it black!  Everything was so white and bright, a little black accent might look really sharp!
I decided on black.
Once again, we are in the back laundry room…. off the garage…. if I make a mistake and it looks ugly, who cares…. not many people with see it….
So, I began painting, stood back to get an idea of what it was going to look like and had a little sting of possible regret in my stomach…
and snapped my daughter,
which is what I always do when I need a little decor encouragement.
After the first full coat, I was still a little unsettled about my decision.
But after the second coat of paint, all regrets and anxiety went OUT THAT DOOR right there cause baby, I love it!
I love it
I love it
I love it!
What was all the fussing for?
I don’t know.
I just might do a few more doors in my house black….

Here’s to courage and bravery!!!
