White Chocolate Popcorn
This white chocolate popcorn is a treat that I definitely should NOT know about!
White Chocolate Popcorn
Ingredients:
8 cups popped popcorn
11 oz bag Ghirardelli white chocolate chips
sea salt
Instructions:
1. Pour chips into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power for 1 minute. Take out and stir. Microwave again for 20 seconds, take out and stir. Continue until most but not all of the chocolate is melted, then stir until the remaining chips have melted.
2. Have half of the popcorn in a bowl and pour some of the white chocolate over, stir to combine. Add the rest of the popcorn, cover with the last of the chocolate and stir until the popcorn is completely covered. Spread popcorn onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment or waxed paper and sprinkle with sea salt. Allow to harden, or place it in the freezer for a few minutes.
*Optional: may drizzle with melted semi sweet chips, or consider add ins like cranberries, M&M’s, sprinkles, nuts, etc.
