Bathroom Progress
My half bathroom project (aka Ricky’s bathroom project) is coming right along… and when I say it’s coming along, I mean I work on it when I have a few spare minutes, but so far so good! The bead board wallpaper is up and I’m absolutely loving the paint color on the walls! I chose the color Gray Cloud by Benjamin Moore.
Today I’m painting the cabinets. I would love to replace the countertop, because it is ug-ly. But I’m doing this on a budget, and mostly doing it myself, so that will have to wait. Tomorrow my Ricky love is going to help me with my miter saw stand, and then the fun begins!
I’ve order new knobs for the bathroom cabinet doors and these are the ones I decided on:
They will be ok, but I’m kicking myself because today I found these that I want MORE!
Oh well. I guess I could always switch them out if I’m going to throw a fit over it.
Everything in the bathroom will be light in color, so I’m painting the oak cabinet door fronts a beautiful dark color to add interest, also because it will look better with my ugly counter top. The paint color for the cabinet is Valspar’s Betsy Ross House Brown.
I’ve also ordered new pulls for the adjoining laundry room cabinet doors, which is the next project. The cabinet doors are very tall, so I love the idea of having larger hardware to match. I ordered these 8″ pulls that I think will go very nicely. (You inspired me Lani!!)
Can’t wait to see it all come together!
Now I’m off to Lowe’s to buy finish nails and trim!
Have a great day!
🙂

Oooh, I can't wait to see it! I want to see how the wallpaper turned out!
