COMMIT TO A GOAL…
I love these quotes:
“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
― Ernest Hemingway

“Always dream and shoot higher than you know you can do. Do not bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.”
― William Faulkner

No matter who you are, no matter what you did, no matter where you’ve come from, you can always change, become a better version of yourself.”
― Madonna

If you haven’t yet committed to a goal or resolution for the year, now is a good time to do it. I know some of you don’t like the word resolutions, and some even “resolve” to never make a resolution, but you can’t argue with the fact that human nature has an innate desire to grow and become better. Don’t we all want to be the best person we can be?
Today is the first day of my Twenty Week Challenge. It will be quite a commitment, but one I’m willing to make. It will be hard, but you know what? I’m ready for it to be hard. I don’t know where I heard it, but there is a quote that says, “There is no growth in the comfort zone, and no comfort in the growth zone.” It will actually be great fun to see what the next 20 weeks bring!
I am ready.
Are you ready?
What is your goal? Do you have one? Maybe you should sit down and think of one.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone! Don’t live a mediocre life, when there is so much to go for out there! Big or small, doesn’t matter. The point is that you are moving in the direction of self improvement. That’s never a bad thing!
Pick a goal.
Write it down.
Make the commitment.
Keep focused on it everyday.
Visualize, visualize, visualize!
Happy goal setting!
