Hello 2022!

It’s always fun to see what kind of fashion trends are making their way onto the runways. But how we can incorporate some of them into our wardrobes?  I mean, some of them can be OUT THERE if you know what I mean!! Today, I’m sharing some of the fashion trends for 2022 that I am excited to try, that are perfectly appropriate for women my age.

BOLD COLOR COMBOS

Is this out of your comfort zone? I think it would be a little gutsy to go big and bold if you haven’t ever done that before.  But that’s the beauty of fashion!  We can do it however we want!!  If you’re not comfortable going bright and bold, tone it down a bit or incorporate it in accessories if that’s easier.

THE COLOR PERIWINKLE

Have you heard that Pantone’s Color Of The Year has been announced?  It’s called Very Peri.  So be watching for all different shades of periwinkle to trickle onto the fashion scene.

Fringe

Fringe is so fun! I’m totally cool with it as one of this years fashion trends. I would definitely be okay with a little fringe hanging from my jacket …. or my swimsuit!!  Would you wear that?

MAXI OR MINI

It’s all about extremes this year, so it’s either really short or really long.  So the micro mini skirts are one of the trends, yikes!  But I guess if you really wanted to, you could wear them with leggings or tights.  But on the other hand, long maxi skirts and dresses will take center stage over the midi dresses this year.
