Here comes the heat!

With Memorial Day behind us, we can now continue planting the garden!

Phase 2 vegetables include all the tender vegetables;

• Corn
• Green beans
• Cucumbers
• Cantaloupe
• Peppers
• Squash
• Tomatoes
• Watermelon

I’ve heard it is a good idea to put an aspirin in your tomato hole when planting.  But then I also saw THIS LIST of other things that are apparently good for tomatoes!!

Who knew all that?!

I added some tomato food that I had on hand from planting the garden last year.

I need to decide where I’m going to plant the rest of the marigolds that I bought…

Doesn’t the soil look yummy right now?

It won’t stay that way, in fact in the summer it gets pretty hard.

For that reason, I’ve got my eye on THIS little tool.

Grow little plants, GROW!

We are seeing baby peaches on our new peach tree!

I love Toby, but he’s the reason my peas are growing sporadically.

I was just looking at pics of him as a young puppy HERE.

We like him so much better now.  😉
