I love when Shey sends me links to her newest videos.. but this one was extra special!  I will treasure this day (and this video) forever!!  Thank you Shey!

*Side note:  Before opening his call, I had just finished telling everyone that I was okay with Sam serving ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD except Detroit or Chicago.  The video doesn’t capture the sting in my gut the moment he read “Illinois Chicago Mission,” but it does capture the quick glance to the bishop’s wife for reassurance!    Thankfully, the sting only lasted for a minute or two and then was followed by total peace.   For two years.
