Need a summer dress?

I don’t have a lot of summer dresses that are JUST summer dresses, so when I saw this striped dress with ruffles I knew I had to have it!  It’s such a fun, lightweight dress that is perfect for summer months.  Here I’m wearing it with heels, but came home from church and slipped on flip flops and it took on a more casual look, but JUST as darling!

Here’s what I love about this dress.

I love the long length and the deep ruffle at the bottom.  A good long dress just makes me feel pretty. Long dresses have really been appealing to me lately, as seen in THIS post.  I even rode home from Grandma’s on the back of Rick’s motorcycle…. nothing exposed!!!

I love the round, modest neckline!  Give me ALL the round necklines.  Just my favorite!!

I love the tie at the waist!  When I pulled it out of the package, I thought this cute striped dress with ruffles was going to be huge on me, but the minute I tied it, it was perfect!  Not bulky.  The fabric is very lightweight and breathable.

According to the size chart it said I should order a large, which is what I did.  I think the large is perfect for me.  The medium would have probably worked for me also.  However, I wonder if the sleeves or something would have been a bit tight.

I actually believe this dress will look great on ANY body type!
