THE MULTI-STRIPE DRESS…

Four more days until the official start of summer!

What better time to wear bright colors!

Today I’m showing how this multi-stripe dress could be worn from day to night

I am teaming up with my Ageless Style gal pals, so be sure to find them at the end of this post.

Can you wear stripes??

Well, I say you can wear whatever you want!

But the truth is, if you’re not comfortable in it, then you probably shouldn’t wear it.

The great thing about this multi-stripe dress is that the stirpes are VERTICAL which will elongate your body.

This dress is meant to be loose and flowy… if the stripes were horizontal, they might give you a wider-looking effect.

Nobody wants that, right??

The dress runs a little small in the bodice.

So keep that in mind.

I am wearing a small and can get away with it.

But a medium might have been better.

The arms are a little tight and if I had bigger boobs, I’d be in trouble!

The daytime look is sheer comfort!

I wore this multi stripe dress all day long… in perfect comfort!

I even went for a walk later in the evening and was telling my husband how comfy it was.

The movement of the dress allows for airflow with each step, you know what I mean?

I kept it simple and just wore it with my favorite pair of sandals.

Move seamlessly to a nighttime look by adding just a few pieces.

I changed out my sandals for a pair of wedges and threw on a denim jacket for warmth.

Reaching into my closet, I decided that my long turquoise necklace would get along GREAT with this dress!

Can you believe I got this necklace from Walmart years ago?

That is a hefty piece of turquoise!!!

Unfortunately, I can’t link to it but keep your eyes on the Walmart jewelry department, sometimes you’ll find TREASURES!

I really love the dress with the denim jacket! I have a hard time with waistline that are not at the waist in dresses so I would pass on this one because of that but it looks adorable on you! And those wedges: love!

Hey Mireille! Yes, it’s definitely got that “babydoll” waistline that doesn’t suit everyone. And I love the wedges too! A great neutral shoe. Thanks my friend!!
