I thought I would start a little something called the weekly roundup.

So I can have a place to share things from the week that I may not have gotten around to sharing!

 

First things first – Amazon Prime Day

 

Boy, Amazon sure had a week, didn’t they?

I’ve never really participated in Amazon Prime day (which is actually not one day but TWO) until this year!

I was just really excited about it this year for some reason!

Maybe it’s because online shopping has never been more popular… thanks, Covid!

I shared my Amazon purchases on the first Prime day HERE.

On the second day, I had no intention of buying anything.

And do you think I stuck to that???

Of course not!

But I’m happy to say that the only things I bought, I bought for Christmas gifts.

For example, these lanterns!

 

They are awesome!

We have some similar ones that we have used for years and they are just so handy.

What I like about these specifically, is that they are waterproof and submersible.

I got one for each one of my older kids to have in their emergency supplies.

I don’t like to think of my kids being unprepared and away from home in a disaster.

 

A first aid kit

 

To go along with their emergency supplies, I thought it would be a good idea to gift them each their own personal first aid kit.

This year has taught me more than ever, how important it is to be PREPARED.

Each of my older kids will get one of these.

I also picked up some Poopouri for each of their apartments.

As funny as the commercials are, this is really good stuff!

I threw some in my husband’s stocking last Christmas and it has been a lifesaver!!

I can’t vouch for the smell of this scent, it just happened to be the one on sale.

But I CAN tell you that the Original Citrus is heavenly!!

My youngest teenage son has been into these ankle socks lately, so I got this 7 pack that has tons of great reviews.

The last thing that I bought from Amazon was this hair straightener that is also going to be a Christmas gift.

What’s going on in the kitchen?

 

I can’t do a weekly roundup without mentioning the FUN Power XL 12-in-1 Grill Air Fryer Combo from QVC!

I made my first ever “air-fried” french fries and a delicious weekend breakfast of French Toast Rolls!

I love that it just doesn’t seem as messy as a traditional fryer.

I’m super excited about all the upcoming recipes that I will try out!

 

What’s new in my closet?

 

With all the sales going on around Amazon Prime Day, when I learned that Old Navy was having a big sale, I had to swing in and try on the new High Waisted Pixie Pants!

I’ve had a love for the mid-rise Pixie pants for years.

I tried these new high waisted ones to see if I can wear the same size, and turns out YES!

I bought them in this great plaid for Fall and also in the red.

I also tried on a bought this cute tee!

Absolutely loved it!
