Running In St. George
We just returned from our annual February trip to St. George, it’s a yearly tradition that our whole family enjoys. Sheylee and I spend most of our time at the Parade of Homes, the boys spend most of their time riding dirt bikes with their cousin, and Rick spends most of his time in the pool with the two little ones. 🙂
Lucky him!

One of my favorite things from the weekend, (and there were many) was running with Sheylee on one of her favorite St George running trails. It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to run in a short sleeve t-shirt, and it felt so good!
It’s so nice to have running trails, especially if you are used to running on country dirt roads which are subject to tractor traffic, dogs, ruts, and the occasional skunk.
It was the perfect running temperature!
I loved how this trail went right under the freeway, very cool as semi trucks passed overhead!
We only passed a handful of people, some walking, some running, some biking, and some just sitting on a nearby bench hollering out “have a great day!”
Oh, but it all came to an abrupt halt when she saw a cute cactus…
Yes, I said cute.
Here is the closeup, isn’t it adorable??

Driving back to the condo, we stopped at the nursery to look at more cactus plants. Did I mention this girl is obsessed?
She loved this one…and this one…and this one…
Big hug! Trying to imagine how she could get this one home…
Cactus love.
In it’s purest form.
🙂
Have a great day!
