The casual red dress.

Everybody needs one in their closet. A red dress is so appropriate all summer long!!

Today I will be sharing 2 ways to style a red dress for different occasions.

I love that this dress is so versatile and comfortable.  It is a style that can be dressed up or down to fit your lifestyle.

Throughout summer, this dress will be good for anything from church to the 4th of July!

What do I love about it?

• The modest neckline
• That it has sleeves
• It’s very forgiving if you carry weight in your middle
• The length
• The big ruffle on the bottom

 

Add a belt, denim jacket, and sandals.

This is a fun look for any errand or running around that you have to do.

Maybe you have an early morning farmers market you visit on Saturday?

Or an evening at the ballpark that sometimes gets chilly when the sun goes down.

This has become my favorite belt that I own and am SO GLAD I have it!! I have worn it more than I thought I would.  The cute gold chain sandals go well with the look and they are FREE to ship right now!  They also come in rose gold and silver.  But if you are wearing them with red I would say stick with gold.

In your accessories too… gold and red go so well together.

My denim jacket is old but THIS ONE looks identical!

 

Throw a sweater over your shoulders and add a baseball hat and sneakers.

This gives a very nautical look that would be perfect for baseball games or wearing to the beach or stadium to watch fireworks.

You could add some booties and a moto jacket in a few months for great Fall style!

These white sneakers I would HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for a good pair!  They have great arch support and my feet never get tired in them. They don’t have laces, because WHO wants to take time to tie shoes?? 😉  Easy on, easy off.

Add a nice blazer for work or church.

 

This blazer is old too but I’ve linked a few other white blazers. Add a darling bag and some low heels and you are appropriate for church, receptions, plays, recitals, or work at the office.

This dalring white bag is one of my new favorite things… it has an interchangeable floral flap satchel that zips on to give you two bags for the price of one! But I like it just plain white. It’s super cute and very well made.
