We had another great chat with the girls last night, so I’m here with an Instagram LIVE recap!  Last night we talked about cozy clothing, Valentine’s Day, skinny jeans vs straight jeans, and lots of talk about beauty products and skincare!

Here are some of the things we talked about during our Instagram LIVE last night.

1. Our favorite moisturizer for the body: Nature Well hands down!!  My daughter has eczema and we’ve searched high and low for something that doesn’t sting her poor, itchy skin.  It has a light scent, nothing overbearing like some brands. It’s very moisturizing for dry skin and we buy 4-6 jars at a time to save on shipping and always have them on hand.
2. My favorite moisturizer for the face:  Right now I’m loving It Cosmetics Confidence in your Beauty Sleep.  I wear that at night at it’s counterpart Confidence in a Cream during the day.  An inexpensive option for daytime moisture that has lots of anti-aging properties is Cerave PM Lotion.
3. We talked about the importance of using a Vitamin C serum.  I use the Timeless Vitamin C + E + Ferulic Acid Serum.  It’s a really good one that prevents future aging and sun damage by warding off free radicals.  It gives my skin a visually brighter, clearer appearance.
4. The most effective anti-aging product we feel is to use some sort of retinoid.  At almost 50 years old, it made my skin look better than it ever had!  I use Curology, which you can get online without a prescription. You work closely with a dermatology provider to find just the right formulation for your own skin.  That helps to prevent irritation, as it’s customized to your specific needs.
5. If you want a gentler alternative to begin with, I would highly recommend Serovital Suddenly Smooth Gentle RetinAll.
6. Lash serums… I’ve found Babe Lash Essential Serum and Enhancing Conditioner duo to be very effective on my lashes! I can’t live without it. I don’t ever want to be without those!
