A Summer to Fall dress from Coldwater Creek

I’m so excited to share a new-to-me brand Coldwater Creek today! Their story is that they create designs inspired by the great northwest.

I do need to say that Coldwater Creek reached out to me through LTK for this collaboration and I am sharing my opinion of what they sent me.

This is the Mosaic Striped Stretch Knit Dress that I’m wearing and I thought it would be fun to share what to wear with a striped dress like this and exactly how I styled it.

What to wear with a striped dress.

It’s a simple rule, but the easiest way to style a striped dress is to keep the other pieces very simple.

The stripes will ultimately steal the show, so the other pieces need to compliment the dress in a subtle fashion.

I chose to pair the dress with a simple denim jacket and neutral shoes. They are the perfect accompaniment while allowing the dress to be the star.

This Frayed Edge Denim jacket is a very flattering and feminine version of the traditional denim jacket.

I love the collarless neckline and the yokes down the front and back that create a shapely silhouette.

And the frayed edges are just so cute, aren’t they?

I am wearing a size small in both pieces, which is my usual size.

I would say you could even size down on the jacket.

These shoes have been worn on repeat all summer long. They are a neutral block heel with clear straps; I love them so much!
